Bra guide
Many women buy bras in the size they would like to wear, not the one that really fits them. World statistics show that 70% of ladies make the wrong choice of lingerie. What a catastrophe ?! To avoid it, we at My Lingerie by Provoke have created a special BRA GUIDE for you.
To figure out what bra to order, you first need to measure under your breast. To do this, put on your most comfortable bra, which does not have any padding and does not tighten your chest. It’s best to have someone else take the action for you, but you can do it yourself. Exhale completely and place the sewing meter just below the chest. It should be positioned parallel to the floor. This will determine the first digit of your bra size. Compare it with the table below:
Under breast length (cm) | Size EU/Japan | Size US/UK | Size France/Spain | Size Australia |
---|---|---|---|---|
63-67 | 65 | 30 | 80 | 8 |
68-72 | 70 | 32 | 85 | 10 |
73-77 | 75 | 34 | 90 | 12 |
78-82 | 80 | 36 | 95 | 14 |
83-87 | 85 | 38 | 100 | 16 |
88-92 | 90 | 40 | 105 | 18 |
93-97 | 95 | 42 | 110 | 20 |
98-102 | 100 | 44 | 115 | 22 |
Then it’s time to measure your chest. Exhale and place the sewing meter on the most convex part of the chest. Again, it should be parallel to the floor. After measuring your chest, find your cup in the following table:
Under breast size | Over breast & cup size | ||||||||||||||

Important note – In some cases, the table may be only a guide, but it may not give a definite answer as to which bra to choose. If you have features such as a narrower back, you might want to buy a 1-2 cup larger cup than the one your table calculates. If you have a wider back, do the opposite. Take at least one smaller cup size. The choice of us, the wearing of you!
